The PAC Grant Program provides partial reimbursement to graduate students for expenses incurred while attending academic and professional conferences. The purpose of the program is to help offset costs such as transportation, lodging, registration, and membership fees.
Funding Levels
- Author (presenting or co-author):Graduate students who are listed as an author on a paper, poster, or creative work at an academic or professional conference may be reimbursed for actual eligible expenses up to $600. This applies whether the student is the presenting author or a co-author.
- Non-presenter attendee:Graduate students who attend a conference but are not listed as an author may be reimbursed for actual eligible expenses up to $200.
Proof of Presentation
Presenters must provide documentation showing their authorship status, such as:
- Conference program listing authorship and presentation title
- Acceptance email from the conference
- Other verifiable official documentation
Application Timing
Students should apply for PAC Grant funding only after attending the conference. Pre-application is not required. Provided that all required documentation is complete, proof of attendance is submitted, and the criteria below are met, students can expect reimbursement.
