To help you acclimate to campus, The Graduate School is co-hosting a series of virtual events. These sessions are an opportunity for you to get to know the campus and meet some other students who will also be starting this year. There will be a morning and evening session for each one to best accommodate your schedule and you can register for which ever works best for you by clicking on the time.
Transportation Department and Department of Public Safety (DPS)
This session will cover getting around campus and the city, neighborhoods to live in if you need public transit, obtaining parking passes if you have a car, and safety initiatives and resources available through our DPS. Apartment and Off-Campus Living Office
This session will help you get familiar with our Off-Campus Housing website. The presenters will provide an overview of the website along with additional resources available through the site. SU Student Legal Services.
In this session we will discuss all the services available to you through our legal services office such as lease reviews and disputes. Sessions were already held and the recordings can be viewed here.
Office of Financial Literacy
This session will help you learn financial tips and strategies that will help you while you are in grad school. Sessions were already held and the recordings can be viewed here.
Ask a Current Graduate Student*
This is an opportunity to ask some of your peers questions about campus, where the best study spot is, or where to get a good cup of coffee or tea.
There will be a recording available to those who are unable to attend and the recordings will be accessible here.
